International Business Consulting

Starting his career at KPMG as an auditor in it’s financial services practice, Chad specialized in private equity, working with entities like TPG Capital, in hedge funds, and major family offices. He then moved to Neuberger Berman’s fund-of-funds division, before heading to Uganda as CFO/COO at Livingstone International University, interacting with staff and students from over ten African nations.
In Uganda in 2016, Chad established Convenit Holdings, a Mauritius-based social impact fund aimed at bridging Africa’s digital divide in education, finance, and social sectors. Convenit Holdings, now operating from the U.S., is a part of the MasterCard Smart Communities Coalition, focusing on innovative models in humanitarian contexts. Convenit Holdings has collaborated with companies such as Microsoft and MasterCard in its activities in Africa.
Chad’s academic pursuits include a Ph.D. proposal titled “A Dynamic Model of a Firm in an Emerging Market and the Endogenization of Transaction Costs in Sub-Saharan Africa” at the University of London, although he has paused his studies to focus on his family.
Returning to the U.S. in 2018, Chad became CFO at the Wycliffe Seed Company, a global non-profit, where his responsibilities included oversight for a $85M cash and investment portfolio. Currently, he is dedicated to developing Convenit Consultants.
On the personal front, Chad and his wife Katie, his favorite travel companion, are parents to four children. They share their home with Cubby, a three-year-old Golden Retriever, who enjoys lounging by the fire.
